Have you been scouring the internet in search of the best EDC coffee mug? Well, you’re in luck. I’ve found what might be one of my favorite on-the-go coffee mugs to date – the Zojirushi stainless steel coffee mug.
This coffee mug is pretty frickin’ sweet. For starters, it’s made out of stainless steel. That means that it’s durable and can take a beating. It also means that it won’t absorb any odors or flavors from your beverage, keeping your coffee tasting as fresh as the day you brewed it.
The Zojirushi also has a vacuum-insulated stainless steel liner. This helps keep your coffee hot for hours on end. In fact, I’ve had my coffee stay piping hot well over 6 hours after initially making it. And in case you’re wondering, the mug will also keep your iced coffee cold for just as long.
But the best part about this mug, in my opinion, is the price. It’s very affordable compared to other EDC coffee mugs on the market.
What Others are Saying
If you want to continue your journey, I would recommend checking out the /edc subreddit. That’s actually where I came across the Zojirushi as one of the top comments of this thread on Reddit recommended it.
From what I found in that reddit thread one user said that they “can be a pain in the ass to keep clean”. However, I did not run into that issue with the latest model on Amazon, but that might be because the post was from a few years ago.

My Coffee Recommendations
I wanted to end this mini-review by giving you some coffee tips to put into your new tumbler. It’s not enough to have the best way to carry your coffee, what’s inside has to be amazing as well.
Making a great cup of coffee is an art form. There are so many different ways to make it, and each method has its own set of devotees. I’ll skip all the nonsense, and just jump right to my preferred method, which is French Press.
French Press Coffee
For those who love a strong, rich cup of joe, I want to show you some of the best coffee for French Press. This brewing method involves coarsely grinding your beans and then boiling them in water before plunging the grounds down with a filter. The resulting coffee is full-bodied and flavorful, with a slightly sedimentary texture.
If you have a French press, there are the coffee beans I would recommend: Onda Origins
Wrap Up
That does it for my review on the Zojirushi Stainless Steel Coffee Mug, and my preferred coffee that should go inside of it. Don’t be afraid to get crazy and try out different coffees though, as this mug can keep iced coffee chilled just as well as keeping a nice hot cup of coffee warm!
I would love to hear your feedback if you try this out or if you’ve already owned one and have your own take on it.
